Welcome to Book Mobile Barber. By using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of our mobile barber services. Please read these terms carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment or using any of the services provided by Book Mobile Barber ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Area
Book Mobile Barber provides mobile barber services within Massachusetts and surrounding states. We reserve the right to refuse service outside our operating areas. There is a travel fee of $2/mile outside of our 15-mile radius from Medford, MA.

3. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be made in advance through our website, mobile app, or via direct contact.

  • No-shows will be charged the full price of the service.

4. Delays and Grace Period
While we strive to arrive on time for all appointments, as a mobile service, we are subject to traffic and other unforeseen delays. We offer a 15-minute grace period for delays due to such circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible if we anticipate a delay longer than this grace period. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing a clean and safe environment for our barbers to perform services. This includes adequate space, proper lighting, and a level surface for the service to be conducted.

6. Health and Allergy Disclosure
Clients are required to inform Book Mobile Barber of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to receiving services. Book Mobile Barber will not be held liable for any adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions or from any materials or products used during the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Satisfaction: While we strive to provide high-quality service, haircuts and grooming services are subject to personal taste and preference. We do not guarantee any specific outcome.

  • Damage to Property: Book Mobile Barber will not be liable for any damage to property caused by the service unless the damage is caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by our staff.

  • Injury: By booking and receiving services from Book Mobile Barber, you acknowledge that our barbers may use sharp tools and chemicals as part of the grooming process. We are not liable for any injury or allergic reaction unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

  • Third-party Products: We are not liable for reactions or side effects caused by products you request or provide for the service.

  • Damage to Tools or Equipment: Clients agree to be responsible for any intentional or negligent damage caused to Book Mobile Barber’s tools or equipment while on the client's premises.

  • Limitation on Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Book Mobile Barber's liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the services.

  • Vehicle Liability: Book Mobile Barber is not responsible for any damage caused to client property by our business vehicle, except where such damage is the result of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by our driver or staff.

8. Indemnity
Clients agree to indemnify and hold Book Mobile Barber, its employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, actions, damages, or liabilities arising from the client's breach of these terms, negligence, or misconduct.

9. Force Majeure
Book Mobile Barber will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, health emergencies, barber unavailability, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

10. COVID-19 and Health-Related Disclaimer
Book Mobile Barber follows all recommended health and safety protocols. By booking an appointment, clients confirm that they are free from contagious illnesses such as COVID-19. Book Mobile Barber will not be held liable for any health-related claims arising from the service, including potential exposure to illness.

11. Medical Disclaimer
Book Mobile Barber is not responsible for any medical emergencies or conditions requiring medical attention during or after services, except where such emergencies arise from gross negligence or willful misconduct by our staff.

12. Data Privacy
We collect personal data such as your name, contact details, and payment information solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell, share, or misuse your data in any way. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data.

13. Consent to Photography
By booking services with Book Mobile Barber, clients consent to having photos taken for promotional purposes. No images will be used without the client’s express permission.

14. Right to Refuse Service
Book Mobile Barber reserves the right to refuse service to any client for reasons including, but not limited to, inappropriate behavior, unsafe conditions, or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts.

17. Arbitration Clause
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or the services provided by Book Mobile Barber shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The venue for such arbitration shall be Massachusetts, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties.
